As we mainly rely on the Sigfox network for ranger and wildlife tracking, we actively contribute to optimizing network coverage in our deployment areas.
We achieve this by deploying solar-powered repeaters that operate independently of internet connectivity. These repeaters are strategically placed, either integrated with existing infrastructure or mounted on custom-made mobile tripod masts.
To make informed decisions regarding network expansion, we conduct comprehensive radio propagation studies and consistently monitor the performance of deployed tags. By assessing the network’s effectiveness, we identify areas where additional expansion is necessary, ensuring seamless connectivity throughout our operational zones.
We also employ a full-time technician to maintain and service these repeater networks.
